Description

Trend of people's lives are increasingly leading to the back to nature. This condition is also boosting demand on the products that are made naturally be increased. For Indonesia, which is already known as Bio-Diversity Mega, Mega Centre greatest biodiversity in the world, its details are about 300,000 species of plants and medicinal + 7000 (90% of plant species in the region), which is also the subject of 45 essential drugs in America and 14 species of which comes from Indonesia. Be aware of the potential of Indonesian natural plants and abundant, University of Padjadjaran making assets, which in the future will further solidify ourselves in doing research on natural medicines, and transformed into a '' Research Center ''. The whole process of research carried out by the Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) - pharmaceutical equivalent. Laboratory facilities will be supported with a full range of laboratory facilities and the role of Research Development.

Nowadays Research Center concept has become interesting than it has, the building concept is to have the Laboratory/Research Center having a strip lobby just like we ussualy see in a public space concept. The strip lobby functioned to welcome all the building users, to create healthy and clean feelings, the strip lobby also functioned as green space with atrium which try to blurred the Research center image, to make it more open and friendly for the public.

Function Research Center is to train students in skills practice, demonstrations, experiments, research, and development of science. Laboratory is meant here not only means a room or building used for scientific experiments, for example in the field of science (Herbal Science), biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, and so on; but also includes a scientific activity itself in the form of trial / experiment, study / research, observation, demonstration involved in learning activities. In other words "laborary work" is the activity (work) in a place that is scientifically done by students or faculty or the other, either in the form of practice, observation, research, demonstration and development of models of learning undertaken in the framework of teaching and learning activities
